The City is changing, from being the workers place to being the trendy part of Copenhagen with its different kind of faces. Depending on your interests, you can take a walk along Istedgade which is the red light distrect of Copenhagen but also the SoHo kind of thing, where you can find funny and trendy places. Spend the night at all the new coicktail bars. Listen to music at VEGA. Take a day at the city beach nearby and swim in the canal of Copenhagen. Play beach volley with your friends. Clamb a 36 meter high wall and get a good view of the city and its towers. Participate in the open air arrangements, both free film and Opera in the green area. Visit the famous brewery Carlsberg and get a free taste of their products. Visit the famous cafe "Cafe Sonja" in Saxogade and have a nice cheep meal. Hang out at Halmtorvet and join the young and trendy part of Copenhagens bars & restaurants. Try exotic restaurants, Indian/ Thai/ mexican/ italian/ Greek andTurkish food. Play basket or petanque at the squares. Or take a visit to the traditionel pubs of Vesterbro, where you can get cheap beers and listen to danish pop music. Vesterbro embrasses it all.
